40 Years Anniversary Celebration

On 27th - 31st May, 2006, The United Church of God, Longsight, Manchester, celebrated it's 40th year anniversary. We had a 5 day convention packed with powerful praise and worship, bible teaching, and preaching. We had a great time in the Lord as we experienced the move of the Holy Spirit.

God has been good to us and taken us through those 40 difficult years. Like the children of Israel who have been through the wilderness for 40 years, we too have been through a spiritual wilderness, but we realised that it is a new season, it is a new day, a fresh anointing is coming our way.

The United Church of God have been energized to move to another level and to the full calling of God, and are ready to cross Jordon to possess the land. Our vision is to transform the community (Longsight) with the message of Jesus Christ and to reach out to their need with God's love.
